Is it my dog, or a wolf coming to attack me?
KYAAA~~~ It's sooooo sunny out <3! It's going to be close to 70 today, so I'm outside drinking in the warmth and sunlight as much as I can. I so love having a laptop.
School going great (besides my Japanese Culture and Japanese Poery classes). I still don't have any close friends yet, but I'm aiming for some by the start of next semester. I really would like someone to sit down to lunch with me or study together or go to the movies with, but that'll come along in the future, and that's not as important as my studies right now, so I'm not too worried. Plus, there are alot of people here with the same interests as me (just now before Korean class i had a group of girls huddled around my comp kyaa-ing at Lee Junki's gorgeous lips and build). It's kinda fun =).
Although my dad said he'll handle me financially and my mom said she doesn't want me walking around outside of our apartment particularl at nighttime, I've applied to ten different places for a job. I hate depending on my dad (plus, the tuition payment date was yesterday and i have a late fee tacked on me coz my dad couldn't get he money in time) for money all the time. The placesI've applied for are restaurants and grocery stores; they won't pay as much as a job on campus will, but I have no choice. Could not finda job on campus this semester, plus buses to New Brighton stop at 6.30 pm which limits the hours can submit to a job. But sssshhh, my parents don't know I'm trying t get a job
Anyways, It's only for this semester. Next semeser I'm able to plan out my classes so that I have Tuesday and Thursday basically free, and classes on M,W,F end at 2 pm. I can definately find a job on capus with that schedule.

Btw, GO WATCH KOREAN DRAMA TIME OF DOG AND WOLF RIGHT NOW~~~!!!
This is NOT a regular K-Drama. It is AWESOMENESS. It's like an extended movie. It really shouldn't be listed under drama if it weren't for he love triangle in the story.
I'm giving a synoPsis here, although I highly recommend you do not read all of it, especially the spoilers, but just watch the drama. But I'm saddened by how not too many of you show interest in this drama, so I want to interest you a little. I'll cover the spoilers, but the others are general information about the show that you can google to find. Hope the back and yellow won't be too annoying.
Seo Ji Woo (Nam Sang Mi) and Lee Soo Hyun (Lee Jun Ki) were childhood friends in Thailand, but because Ji Woo's mom was afraid of her dad, who was the top killer of Qing faction, a major drug group in Thailand, she ran away with Ji Woo and another man. Soo Hyun witnesses the death of his mother by Ji Woo's dad, and is then adopted by Mr. Kang.
Mr Kang's son, Kang Min Ki (Jung Kyung Ho) and Soo Hyun grow up as close brothers, and both get into the National Intellegence Service (Soo Hyun in the top team and Min Ki the playboy in the lowest). Thanks to Min Ki the playboy, So Hyun is reunited with his childhood love Ji Woo, and they begin dating. Unfortunately Soo Hyun is also soon faced with his mother's killer, and he goes crazy with revenge and ends up messing up the mission so bad he loses face and is booted out of the NIS. Soo Hyun is then asked to act as an undercover agent, posing as a lackey of the Qing Faction while relaying information to the NIS. To cover up this mission he had to make it so that all his loved ones, including Ji Woo and Min Ki, will think him dead. Ji Woo grieves for the loss until Min Ki comforts her and she starts dating Min Ki to forget Soo Hyun. Min Ki rises up to take Soo Hyun's place in the NIS.
Meanwhile, Soo Hyun is shot in the head and nearly drowned in the sea after a frantic car chase, and loses his memories. He then really believes he is Kay, and takes up the position of right hand man beside the man who murdered his mom. He is reunited with Ji Woo again, but as a totally different person. Ji Woo, though confused, knows in her heart that this is Soo Hyun. And I'm so not giving away the rest no matter what it's just so incredible and twisted and just so GOOD.
LEE JUNKI'S ACTING IN IT IS AMAZING. If you thought he did good in King and the Clown, then you should see his acting IMPROVED 39874985795 TIMES. HE COMPLETELY SHOOK OFF HIS PRETTY-BOY LABEL IN THIS DRAMA. Honestly, I don't think another actor could have pulled it off. He plays SUCH a complex character! He plays the roles of top NIS member Soo Hyun and the gangster boss's right hand man Kay. But it really feels like he's playing at least 5 completely different people. His personality changes dramatically all throughout the drama, until even though his loved ones could see it was Soo Hyun's face, they denied him as Soo Hyun and took him to be Kay.
The roles Lee Junki played
- a happy man to be top of NIS but still having nightmares of his mother's death
- after one glance of his mom's killer, transformed into a madman bent on revenge
- the undercover agent Kay (but really Soo Hyun), being so close to the man who killed his mom but using all his willpower to not strike at him
- then after some events, he's no longer Soo Hyun nor an undercover agent, but the real gangster Kay, whose personality is a 180 from Soo Hyun's (amazing Junki ould pull it off!)
- then he becomes Soo Hyun again but is not the same Soo Hyun. He is a broken man remembering all the wrongs he did as Kay, and is so ashamed he tries to kill himself 4 times!! (I went NOOOO JUNKI NOOOOOOOOOOOO~~~!!!YOU HAVEN'T MADE BABIES IN ME YET!!!)[/color]
Some Pics (sorry only Lee Junki ones):

btw, the OST for this drama rules, and is embedded strategically into the drama, rather than other dramas where a song plays supposedly at the right moment but ruins the feel of the situation.
