Because I worked all weekend, I got one hour of sleep this morning from frantically trying to write up two essays, one of them in Japanese, another on transnational adoption, while studying for my Japanese and Korean tests that I have tomorrow, ｐlus catch up on three article readings I never did for a class, also reading a harder-than-usual Japanese text and answering comprehensive questions that for some reason required you to think critically, which I've never had in a reading worksheet before. Like, for example:
あなたはアメリカの高校・大学と、日本の高校・大学と、どちらのほうがいいと思いますか。それはどうしてですか。
My Horribly put together answer:
私はアメリカの高校・大学の方がいいと思います。日本の高校大学の入学試験のための勉強ばかりするそうです。私は高校の時が大学生活の勉強仕方のための予習だと考えています。また、大学の時が実社会の予習だと考えています。一つ試験だけ受けて、楽な大学の勉強をしたら、どうやって本当の世間に自分で立ちますか？アメリカの大学には色々な考え方を分かるようになるし、自分の考え方もちょうせんさせられてもらうから、アメリカの方がいいと思います。
In other words, I spent nearly an hour on that one question alone, so I decided to put it up here for all its worth, probably just so I can gain some false sense of success at thinking critically in Japanese by posting this to the world. It's a good thing the sakubun I had to write was on basically the same topic. Watch me get my worksheet and sakubun back with red marks galore.
And so I can barely speak from lack of sleep, yet I have a Korean oral exam in 2 hours.
And the only reason I got all that stuff done is because I took Adderall yesterday morning ><.
So yeah school is going great. I only have 5 more papers to write before the semester is over. Whoopie. Sorry I'm a bit grumpy, can you tell?

Bush will be out of the office tomorrow. I know the entire world is hoping for Obama to be president. I am too.
Currently trying to frantically write out a 2-page essay entirely in Japanese, as well as come up with ideas for my Korean-ness mid-term paper; both due on Thursday. What is Korean identity? Must encompass Korean-Americans, Korea after colonization, how White ideas travel around the world through media and military and change the way Koreans think, Korean's place in the world (economy-wise, power-wise, e.g. Korean inferiority to Japan and submission to America) and their place culturally (racially, in social interactions with other people, how they are treated and how they treat others e.g. black people in Korea, the whole model minority issue in America, 1992 L.A. riots, etc). 6-pages. Goddamit.

Whew, I’m super hyper today. Just went in to McD’s to redeem a free medium fries, and the manager there gave me a free ice cream cone too. YATTA! He was very amused by me jumping up and down happily.
Just sold my two Japanese JE magazines to Kristin and gave my DBSK Rising Sun Photobook to Mary. I know I could have sold all of those for $30 each to crazy fangirls, but alas, I am such a lazy girl…
Just took my Japanese Oral Interview yesterday. For the question regarding what I am able to do now with the Japanese I learned, I answered that I am now able to do karaoke, read children’s books without using a dictionary, and understand song lyrics better.
日本語の勉強して、カラオケをするようになったり、事象をつかわないで子供の本を読むようになった利、歌詞を読みやすくになります。
Yay! I get to use Japanese for seemingly useless things!
For the question on how I came to have an interest in Japanese language and culture, I said it was all thanks to Rukawa Kaede and Slam Dunk.

For the question on what I plan to do with my Japanese in the future, I’m going to teach Japanese in Thailand. She gave me extra points for saying I wanted to be juuust like her.
So it went very very well =D.

Got my job interview at Target today. Applied for the bakery position, so hopefully I'll get more than 8 bucks an hour. Also, the Bakery, Deli and Produce sections all share the same back storage/prep room, so the three areas often share food with everyone else! If a Pizza is just slightly burned, or they want you to "test" out the fried chicken, they'll give it to bakery and produce people. Likewise, if a strawberry in a small pack is rotten,the whole pack needs to be thrown away, so all three areas often group up at the produce section and just munch on the fruits that are still good but have to be thrown away.
It'll be fun =). Oh and カイル works in produce. No, that didn't influence me to work there at all. *cough*

My friend A's boyfriend is going to be deployed over to Iraq. Again. He's been discharged from the army for three years, but they're calling him back.
He'd been acting weird lately. He got this envelope in the mail which he opened up, read a bit, then shoved it back in, telling everyone it was nothing. He tried his best to hide the news from my friend A, who took it hard enough the last time he was fighting over there. But he finally told everyone, and it sucks balls. A is going to have a hard time concentrating in school, and she's taking this really intense graphic designs course. I hope she'll be okay. I hope he'll be okay. He's leaving in August. He was so close to being free from it. Goddamn you Bush. You gotta send in one more wave of soldiers for your idiotis "Project Iraqi Freedom" thing riiiight before you get kicked out of the White House. Goddamn you to hell Bush. You gotta declare war on Iran riiiiight before you lose your power. Fuck all of you who voted for Bush.

It's March 31st, and it's been snowing all day.
Except it's too warm for snow, so everything turns to slush on the floor.
I would much prefer snow over slush. I hate slush. My feet were soaked all day long; it felt like I had waded through a flash flood.
...Btw you know what I miss?
I haven't seen an Exploring the Human Body since the episode with DBSK. And the next one was suposed to be about archery too D=.
...I have instead been watching tons and tons of South Park with Kyle, after exhausting the 2 seasons of Frisky Dingo again.

Well that's done. I quit McDonald's. Although I fee horrible and very unprofessional for stopping right away without even giving a two week's notice, I now have time to study for my midterms.
Btw, coming back to Duluth for Spring Break. Just to work at KFC for five days because I currently don't have a job, and could use all the money I can get.
I feel alot better now. Just have a cold, is all. *sniff*

Yeah so what if I haven't been into JE fandom for a long time? So, I don't know why, but for some reson I suddenly felt like watching KAT-TUN's old Andalucia perf, because that was my fave once upon a time. Then I wanted to see this vid, then that vid, and I stumbled upon this one:
Which I thought was PERFECT because Tesshi is SUCH a slut now homg. I liked him before because he was innocent and molestable =(...
